I didn't know what to expect when I started looking yesterday. I usually like movies by the Cohen brothers. Judging from the title, I had an abstract expectation of the movie being some kind of drama documentary about the current state of the country. I was somewhat surprised! The movie is all about the aftermath of a drug deal gone wrong. Among the persons are an old sheriff (Jones) and a brilliantly played hunter hillbilly (Brolin). The story is violent but engaging. The ending might leave some watchers (including myself) bewildered though...

I know! "No country for old men" got 4 Oscars so therefore it´s a great movie. No, it´s not. I´ve seen thousands of movies and have fallen asleep twice. Once because I had a hang over 15 years ago and once by boredom. The last "accident" happened when watching No country for old men". It was so booring. One Redneck (Josh Brolin) and one hill billy cop (Tommy Lee Jones) in the desert and also a psycho running around killing people with something you usually kill cows with. Sorry, but this one was baaad!
